The purpose of this position is to contribute to the academic excellence and strategic development of Gisma University of Applied Sciences through high-quality teaching, impactful research, and active participation within the academic community. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping and delivering innovative programmes in International Management, Geopolitics, and Global Trade Relations, with a focus on integrating cross-cultural negotiation, international political economy, and global supply chain dynamics into the curriculum. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with an international student body, collaborate with industry and research partners, and influence the evolution of diplomatic and strategic business education in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Module responsibility and teaching of Gisma’s Bachelor and Master programmes, particularly in the fields of International Business Relations, Global Market Entry Strategies, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), and related areas, as well as examination, assessments, and student supervision.
- Active participation in programme development, quality assurance, and the integration of geopolitical risk assessment and international trade frameworks into the curriculum.
- Design and continuous update of contemporary teaching and learning materials aligned with developments in multinational corporate strategy, trade policy, and global economic governance.
- Initiate, expand, and maintain cooperation with partners in industry and research organisations, particularly in international trade organizations, diplomatic missions, and multinational corporations (MNCs)environments.
- Participation in national and international accreditation procedures, asrequired.
- Active engagement in academic administration and committee work.
- Further development of a personal and institutional research profile in International Trade, Emerging Markets, or Inter cultural Management, publication of results in high-quality journals, and engagement in public dissemination.
- Support out reach activities, including student recruitment events and promotion of AI-driven business study pathways.
