Event Coordinator m/w/d (English, German & Russian Speakers)

Temporary, Full-time · Potsdam, Berlin

Your Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute university events, including, but not limited to academic conferences, graduation ceremonies, student activities, and corporate networking events.
Manage event logistics such as venue selection, catering, setup, and guest/student coordination.
Work closely with faculty, marketing, and student services to align events with university goals.
Develop and manage event budgets while ensuring cost-effective planning.
Coordinate with vendors, partners, and sponsors to ensure high-quality event delivery.
Promote events through social media, email campaigns, and printed materials in collaboration with the marketing team.
Handle event registration, ticketing, and guest lists.
Provide on-site event support and troubleshooting for any issues that arise.
Conduct post-event evaluations and provide reports on success and areas for improvement.

Your profile

Languages: Fluent in English, German, and Russian (spoken and written).
Experience: 2+ years in event planning, preferably in an academic or corporate setting.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.
